Year 4 Hinduism day

We had a fantastic Hinduism day at school this week and the children looked fabulous in their costumes and bright clothing.

The children took part in a range of activities. These included makingflatbreads, which they will get to cook and sample very soon.

They also made Diva pots, which are used in Diwali, the festival of light. The children also designed and made their own mendhi hand pattern.

They also made peacock feathers (which has links to the Hindu goddess Lakshmi), and these will be put together to create a fabulous year group peacock display.

Thank you to all the parents and carers for providing your children with some amazing costumes and also thank you to the children for participating in the activities with such

enthusiasm.
