I joined Ocklynge in September 2012 after having worked in the East End of London for thirteen years.
I am delighted to be part of this vibrant school and aim to support the many initiatives which enable our pupils to enjoy a broad, balanced and stimulating curriculum.
My main passion is literature and I aim to expose children to good quality texts at every opportunity. I have even been known to quote Shakespeare in P.E lessons!

I joined Ocklynge in September 2017 having worked at 3 other local primary schools. I am delighted to be working at Ocklynge in the role of Head of Year 5. I currently lead year 5 as well as working on whole school initiatives.
I have been working at Ocklynge Junior School for about 15 years, and have held various positions, from Head of Year 4, Head of Year 5, deputy headteacher and at present the safeguarding lead. I am passionate about children's well-
I have been waiting with great anticipation to start as Headteacher here at Ocklynge. It is a job that I have aspired to for many years and as such it’s a dream come true to be here and to lead this brilliant school forward.
I have been a headteacher in East Sussex for approximately 17 years first at Broad Oak CP School in Heathfield and then at Seaford Primary School where I was headteacher for almost 13 years. I am very much looking forward to working alongside you all in improving and developing the education for all the children.

I joined the team at Ocklynge in 2019 having been the SENCO at an Academy Trust in Bexhill-
In my spare time, I enjoy running marathons, reading children’s books and spending time with my family.
I became part of the team at Ocklynge in January 2017. I have very much enjoyed working with such a motivated, hardworking and fun team of people. I am very excited about my new role within the school and am looking forward to the challenge.
